- No Age Limitation
- Participants can choose to represent their respective Malaysian society or participate as an individual
- Non Malaysian: Participants must be of their respective Malaysian society or equivalent
- Guest team: A player/team from any Asian society from the University of Edinburgh with an approved member pass who is invited by EMSA, with which the player is participating in a particular event
